Directions by Car, Airplane, Bus, and Train:

By Car

  • From Northern NJ, Manhattan, NY State, and New England: New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 11 to Rte 9 South or Garden State Parkway South to Exit 129. Stay right. Follow signs to Rte 9 South. Follow Rte 9 South. Rte 35 will later join Rte 9. Several miles later, Rte 9 will exit to the right. Stay on Rte 35 for 0.7 miles and you will come to a traffic light. Just past the light, turn right into the entrance to the red brick building (Tor Plaza). Our entrance is on the left side of the building.
  • From Maryland, Delaware, Philadelphia and Trenton: New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 10 (Route 440 North towards Staten Island). Take to Route 9 South exit. Follow Rte 9 South. Rte 35 will later join Rte 9. Several miles later, Rte 9 will exit to the right. Stay on Rte 35 for 0.7 miles and you will come to a traffic light. Just past the light, turn right into the entrance to the red brick building (Tor Plaza). Our entrance is on the left side of the building.
  • From Long Island, Queens, Brooklyn and Staten Island: Verrazano Bridge to Staten Island. Follow signs to Outerbridge Crossing to Rte 9 South. Follow Rte 9 South. Rte 35 will later join Rte 9. Several miles later, Rte 9 will exit to the right. Stay on Rte 35 for 0.7 miles and you will come to a traffic light. Just past the light, turn right into the entrance to the red brick building (Tor Plaza). Our entrance is on the left side of the building.
  • From North and Central Pennsylvania, Western NJ, Somerville, Plainfield, etc.: Rte 78 East or Rte 22 East to Rte 287 South to Rte 9 South. Follow Rte 9 South. Rte 35 will later join Rte 9. Several miles later, Rte 9 will exit to the right. Stay on Rte 35 for 0.7 miles and you will come to a traffic light. Just past the light, turn right into the entrance to the red brick building (Tor Plaza). Our entrance is on the left side of the building.
  • From the South - Near the GSP (Atlantic City, Toms River, Lakewood): Garden State Parkway North to Exit 120. Make a left (onto Laurence Parkway). Go approximately 1.4 miles to intersection of Rte 35. Cross over Rte 35 and go left around the brick building (Hoffman's Pharmacy). At light, make a right onto Rte 35 North, following signs for "Perth Amboy/New York". Go approximately 2.2 miles. Watch for "Gallery Motel" on right. At the next light, take the "U-turn" jughandle onto Rte 35 South. Just past the light, turn right into the entrance to the red brick building (Tor Plaza). Our entrance is on the left side of the building.
  • From the Bay Shore (Highlands, Red Bank, Keyport, etc.): Take Rte 35 North or Rte 36 North. Watch for "Gallery Motel" on right. At the next light, take the "U-turn" jughandle onto Rte 35 South. Just past the light, turn right into the entrance to the red brick building (Tor Plaza). Our entrance is on the left side of the building.
  • From New Brunswick area: Take Rte 18 South. Since there is no exit from Rte 18 onto Rte 9 North, turn left at Ferry Road, then left onto Rte 9 North. Follow Rte 9 North. 1.0 miles past the Ernston Road exit you will see a Sunoco Gas Station. Turn right at first street. This is Bordentown Avenue (Rte 615), BUT THERE IS NO SIGN. Go straight and then turn right onto Rte 35 South. (If you pass Foodtown, you have gone too far.) Very shortly you will come to a traffic light on Rte 35. Just past the light, turn right into the entrance to the red brick building (Tor Plaza). Our entrance is on the left side of the building.
  • From Shore (South of Long Branch) and Additional Directions from South: Take Rte 34 North to Rte 9 North. Follow Rte 9 North. 1.0 miles past the Ernston Road exit you will see a Sunoco Gas Station. Turn right at first street. This is Bordentown Avenue (Rte 615), BUT THERE IS NO SIGN. Go straight and then turn right onto Rte 35 South. (If you pass Foodtown, you have gone too far.) Very shortly you will come to a traffic light on Rte 35. Just past the light, turn right into the entrance to the red brick building (Tor Plaza). Our entrance is on the left side of the building.
  • From Lakewood, Freehold, etc., along Rte 9: Take Rte 9 North. 1.0 miles past the Ernston Road exit you will see a Sunoco Gas Station. Turn right at first street.   • Atlantic City, Toms River, Lakewood, Freehold, Points South: Take Bus North on Rte 9 to Park & Ride in Sayreville/Parlin. Please note that this is approximately 2 1/2 miles from our office. Toll free 1-800-582-5946.

By Train

Some of our patients take the NJ Transit train to the South Amboy station which is about a mile from the office. The walk takes approximately 20 minutes, or take a taxi, if necessary. Following are directions:

  1. Walk southeast to JOHN ST.
  2. Turn right on JOHN ST.
  3. Turn left on STEVENS AVE.
  4. Turn right onto BORDENTOWN AVE.
  5. After crossing beneath the ROUTE 35 overpass, turn left onto ramp to ROUTE 35 SOUTH. Be especially careful walking on Route 35 and on the ramp!
  6. Our office is on the right just past the first traffic light.

Trains run more frequently to Metropark (Iselin) on the northeast corridor. The station is approximately 10 minutes from our office by taxi.
